The main goal here is to ensure communities are able to self develop by allowing residents to actively engage in communal activities by posting news, polls, updates, events, joining clubs, funding projects etc.

Understanding the business performance
I joined Keys in 2025, Keys had gone through a series of development while still in it's early stage, what was critical for the business at the time was converting a very complex idea into a full functional product end-to-end. While working with the team, we conducted several sessions, broke down tasks and engaged in extensive sessions that helped map out the relevant requirement and user journeys. Engaging in these session helped the team create a clear vision of what the product would look like. The end goal was to ensure key features were released in phases and push a V1 version of the app to the store

My invovlement
My role as a product designer involved engaging in brainstorming sessions, crafting user journeys, micro interactions and utilising AI as a critical tool in making a fast paced decision. I played a major role in developing screens that catered to both residents and vendors within the app.






































Backstory
Within the Keys app, the funding sources was focused on providing relevant insights on how they receive funds for the community. Communities receive funds via service charges, Donations, returns for established projects within the community etc.
Communal project funding
The Analytics section covers for the business activity happening within the app. It involves how vendors within the community can track how how well their business is performing as well as tracking which of their services contributes the most to their revenue. Welcome prompt for new community members
When new users join, a proactive prompt is provided enabling the user to engage with other users within thier community, this basically to ensure activity from the users end and also to inform neighbouring users of who's new to the community
Accessing vendors around the community
Accessing users is an important task for every residents, this feature basically catered to users ensuring they can access services closest to them.
Starting a service as a vendor
A lot of intention was used to executing the flow for how a vendor would start a service, it involved alerting the vendor about a service that needs to be rendered either in the resident's location or the providers location. At the start of the service the only thing the vendor could see is the timer for the service been rendered and the ability to end the service.
